I finished my painting. I love the cold feeling it spreads to everyone who looks at it. Even my friend said it was scarey.

Conformity, is something everyone is introduced to sub-consciously in a society, be it a school, club, association, or a country. In any group, rules are set up, and usually enforced. People who follow it are generally described as conforming to the rules. Which is not exactly a bad thing.

When a person follows the rules as if it dictates his/her life, and makes it the number one priority in his/her life, then that person is an odd one out in the society, since mostly use it as a guideline for their own safety, and the general peace of the society.

But when almost everyone strictly follow and enforce these rules, it will slowly make the rules stricter and stricter. It is in human nature to want to be unique, but it is also in human nature to follow and go with the flow. This is one internal conflict of the mind that everyone will have. Some of these battles are easy, some tedious and hard. And when every battle ends with following the rules hardcore, what would happen?

The rules will soon dictate everyone's lives. Decides what they do everyday, what their interests are, what jobs they take. Out of the old rules, people make up new rules, trends, fashions that everyone will soon follow even if it was not loudly stated. I'm not talking about teenagers having tattoos, or having punk like hair, or the old fashion where all adults had nicely combed and shined side partings. I'm talking about lifestyles.Where people all take the easy way out, blending into society, doing what everybody else does.

I'm also not saying that everyone should get out of office work and start odd jobs that are unique and all. I'm telling you to dare to dream. Do what you want. Do what you like.

But too bad money is the one that makes the world go round. Not everyone's happiness.
